Southern Fried

I went there thinking I was going to get Southern fried chicken, but the only thing southern fried chicken is tenderloins. I had chicken tenderloins, shrimp, and catfish and the food was out of this world, very very good The atmosphere when you walk in is kind of strange but it’s very clean and really nice to sit and eat. I highly recommend this place.

Great friendly service, the Buddy's plate is what I ordered and it did Not disappoint. Food was in my opinion so good, left the restaurant ready for a nap, highly recommend this location.

Hands down the best fried fish and shrimp around. The fries were also very good. We took our food to go, but the ambiance in the restaurant was very cozy and welcoming. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. My husband and I enjoyed perusing the historical photos of old Mission at the register counter while our food was prepared. The owner (Bobby…sorry if I misspelled it) came out to greet us and was very friendly. She sent us off with our order and some amazingly delicious soup she wanted us to try. I’m so glad she did because that soup was PHENOMENAL! I even called the restaurant to tell her so myself. I don’t why we’d waited so long to try Southern Fried, but I guarantee it won’t be long until we’re back again.

A very beautiful and calm area. The food was DELICIOUS and tasted fresh. The fish and the chicken stripes were very tasty. Great server lady!

Finally got a chance to visit and I was not disappointed, short of actually going to Louisiana, this quaint little gem of a restaurant is as good as you will get in the valley for the best tasting freshest fish fillets and shrimp.You will love the authentic flavor of the food here, I will definitely be coming back for more and your wait staff is so friendly! Southern Fried...my little diamond in the rough!

Very good fried catfish and fried chicken strips. French fries were hot and crispy. The whole meal was piping hot! Good ice tea (we had Arnold Palmers). This will forever be our go to for fried catfish!

The food is delicious and the customer service is really good. The restaurant is so clean and the them just looks amazing. the only negative thing I do have to mentioned is that is took us a while to get our order. Other than that I really enjoyed the restaurant and the food! I will definitely go back again! :)

Very awesome and quaint place. I love the intimate feel they have created here. It's not often I come across extremely fresh cooked food but they definitely accomplished this. I ordered the fish basket and a water with limon. Next time i'll add shrimp. Very inexpensive food and an adorable waitress who was very helpful. Will definitely be back for more!!!!
